In a ceremony held at the Nigerian Defence Academy on April 9, 2025, Major General JO Ochai, the Commandant, bid farewell to Cadet Covenant Toluwanimi Ogunmola, who has been selected to attend further military training at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
Cadet Ogunmola’s selection is a result of his exceptional performance and dedication, showcasing the academy’s commitment to merit-based selection. The Commandant expressed pride in the cadet, emphasizing the honor of representing both the NDA and Nigeria on an international platform.
The ceremony featured the presentation of a plaque to Cadet Ogunmola, symbolizing recognition of his achievements and the collective support of the NDA. As a member of the 72 Regular Course, he studied Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
