President Bola Tinubu has sent the name of Dr Bernard Mohammed Doro from Plateau State to the Senate for confirmation as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
Dr Doro’s nomination follows the emergence of Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as the new APC National Chairman, after previously serving as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.
A native of Kwall in Bassa LGA, Plateau State, Dr Doro is a medical professional and legal expert with over 20 years of global experience in healthcare, leadership, and community service.
He is a trained pharmacist, lawyer, and advanced clinical practitioner who has worked with the NHS in the UK, combining expertise in medicine and management with social impact initiatives.
