The Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), Wahab Alawiye-King has been appointed SSA to the president, according to a reliable source at the Maryland Corporate Headquarters of the Agency.
Our correspondent, however gathered that the former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly(LSHA) will resign to take up the new appointment at the presidency, any time from now.
Daily Topic learnt exclusively that the Dean of SUBEB Chairmen in Nigeria, who has performed creditably has been appointed the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs and Strategy, Office of the First Lady.
Another Source at the presidency re confirmed to our correspondent that the ”grassroot politician will resign anytime from now.”
“I can confirm to you that Alhaji Alawiye-King will resign as LASUBEB Chairman to move to Abuja. He has a new appointment in Abuja,” our source said .
As at press time, there was no response from Alawiye -King, when our correspondent made several calls to his telephone lines.
One of his aides told dailytopic.com.ng that he was at a meeting when we called.
